Hello!

I’m Sarah Davy, a writer, facilitator and mentor living and working in rural Northumberland. Writing Forward is my space to share news, opportunities and to foster encouragement and accountability for writers.

Writing is something we often do alone, and finding the motivation and spark to keep going can be tricky. This space is intended as a community, a place to come when you need some support, fresh ideas or a sounding board. Only we can write what needs to be written, but we don’t have to do it alone.

Free subscribers will get regular posts sharing my writing news, insight into writing life and writing opportunities.

Paid subscribers will get regular writing prompts and provocations and space to comment and share thoughts and ideas. You’ll also be invited to join regular online sessions:

Zoom Write-Ins - an hour of space to write in the company of others. These take place on Mondays at 7pm (UK time), with dates announced in advance.

Creative Check-Ins - a monthly Zoom session to reflect and set intentions for your writing with other writers. Sundays at 4pm, dates announced in advance.
