I love getting writers together, and after a short hiatus, I’m running a new month-long workshop programme. This is for writers at any level, new or emerging, who want to spend time exploring form and getting their writing life together.
Spread over four sessions, we’ll look at a range of writing examples, submission opportunities, practical tools and activities to help us start writing and keep writing.
Here’s the schedule:
Finding Your Form - Weds 8th November
Whether you’re new to writing or looking for a change, we’ll experiment with form to help you find your writing voice and make it shine.
Submitting Your Work - Weds 15th November
Getting your work into the world doesn’t have to be scary. We’ll look at outlets for submission, how to navigate opportunities and work on our writers bio.
Nuts and Bolts - Weds 22nd November
In this workshop we’ll get your writing life in order, looking at how to use social media, take part in events and the need to knows of making a living as a writer.
Keep Going - Weds 29th November
No matter how long we’ve been writing, staying motivated can be a challenge. We’ll explore activities and provocations to help you keep going or find new ways into stories.
You can join all four sessions or just choose the ones that suit you best. It would be lovely to see you there, and if you have any questions, just get in touch!
